Benidorm complements the surroundings of the Mare Sequia Park with two open-air museums dedicated to agriculture and water.

Benidorm Town Council has complemented the surroundings of the Mare Sequia Park with two open-air museums dedicated to agriculture and water.

These spaces provide the cultural and historical component to a park dedicated to leisure, recreation and sport, which has been widely used by citizens ever since it opened.

A park different from the usual on the edge of the urban fabric of the compact city, with which nature is respected, cared for and valued a few meters from the big city.

Next to this large green area of 70,000 square meters, we already begin to glimpse the Water Museum, a reminder and account of the past of Benidorm linked to a Séquia Mare. Thus, there are already installed different hydraulic parts that were part of the supply network of Benidorm, and have been transferred by the Consortium of Waters of the Marina Baixa and the concessionaire Hidraqua.

Next to the Water Museum is the Agricultural Museum, where some of the pieces that made up the oil mill recovered by the Town Hall are already on display.

The aim is to carry out the processes to make use of the entire extension of the Séquia Mare Park once the infrastructure has been set up to classify it as a reference park not only in Benidorm but also in many cities.

The aim of the project is to continue converting Benidorm into the great modern and avant-garde city of the Mediterranean, intelligent, green, friendly and dedicated to the well-being of people.
