An exhibition revealing Benidorm’s origins through unique historical pieces

The exhibition ‘La Carta de Poblament de Benidorm (1325) a través dels documents’ offers a fascinating journey through the founding history of Benidorm via original and reproduced historical documents. Curated by emeritus professor Rafael Alemany Ferrer, the exhibition is part of the 700th Anniversary celebrations of the Carta de Poblament’s granting.

Visitors will find reproductions of the original 14th-century parchment, translations, editions, and a comprehensive collection of research conducted by key historical scholars. The exhibition is housed within the Museu Boca del Calvari and will remain open to the public until October 9, alongside the museum’s permanent displays.
